Nashville real estate - Do most realtors advise their clients to hire a home inspector for new construction homes? Here in Tennessee, I would say that most do not. I personally do, because many of the problems that I've seen with Nashville real estate over the years have actually been in place since the home was new.
As Michael Thornton says in his blog, http://activerain.com/blogsview/289845/11-Month-Warranty-Inspections, you can save a lot of money by have a new home inspected before your warranty period is over. Even if you didn't have it inspected before closing. A lot of Nashville Real Estate is new construction, make sure you have it inspected.
Back to my question. Do you advise your clients to have new homes inspected?
