It's Not my Job - But Somebody Needs to Do It

TrashDriving home this morning Elizabeth noticed again that our neighborhood entrance had a piece of trash, and we decided to walk back and pick it up, thinking it would just take a minute. I know, It's not my job but nobody else seemed to want to take ownership of the problem.

90 minutes later, and with 2 full trash bags of empty bottles, beer cans, Starbucks cups, and what seems like thousands of cigarette butts, I finally had to call it quits because I had an open house to attend. Unfortunately, we only had time to pick up the trash in small section of our neighborhood.

It was 44 degrees and raining, so I'm not going to be happy when I see one of my neighbors tosses a butt out of their window.

Just a small disclaimer here - I'm not a green fanatic, I just don't like trash.
