Franklin Historic HomeWilliamson County Home Sales Up 16.7 Percent compared to September of 2010 with 244 Williamson county homes closing for the month. The average sales price was up 3.6% at $386,671 compared to $373,130, and the average days on market stayed the same at 89 days. The inventory of Williamson county homes once again is down 9.7 percent compared to last year, leading to frustrated buyers who either can't find what they want, or when they do, don't have a lot of leverage to negotiate because the market has already improved.

The average sales price for homes sold in Williamson county for November was $423,051, and the average days on market for Williamson county real estate was 103. Williamson county is located south of Nashville and includes the towns of Brentwood, Franklin, Fairvue and Spring Hill, and is known for great schools, low crime, and low taxes. The easy commute to Nashville along I-65 is fairly quick.
