Williamson County Real Estate Sales for July 2011

Williamson county homeWilliamson County real estate sales were up 26 Percent in July -  Williamson county real estate have been recovering at a fairly rapid pace, seemingly ignoring the problems that the rest of the country is having. I've been saying that Franklin and Brentwood home prices have been on the rise for months, and now the volume is starting to intensify. It's all good for sellers, but the buyers who have been waiting for another drop in prices have just missed the boat.

  • 337 Williamson county homes sold in July compared to 267 in July of 2010
  • the average days on market for Williamson county real estate is 89 days
  • the average price of homes sold in Williamson county is $384,267
  • 146 Franklin homes closed in the month of July at an average price of $377,294
  • 85 Brentwood homes closed in July at an average price of $559,339

Williamson real estate sales are more active than most of the state and country, and with ever shrinking inventory, I expect the prices to rise with consumer demand. With fantastic Williamson county schools, low property taxes, an easy commute to downtown Nashville and the international airport, fantastic shopping and dining at the Cool Springs mall, exceptional parks and recreation, and just a great quality of life, Williamson county has a home for everyone.
