I know you were wondering why I didn't answer my phone.
If you've talked to me before, you know I'll call you back in a short period of time. But for anyone else, here are my self imposed rules about answering the phone.
- I don't talk on the phone while driving (I like to take notes when talking to customers, and I can't drive, talk, and take notes without making a mess of one or all of them).
- I Don't answer the phone while talking to someone face to face. Phones calls come in second place here. I'll call you back later
- I was talking on the phone with another client - They shouldn't have to wait for you
- You made it to my DO NOT ANSWER list. That means you don't know what no means, and I don't feel like wasting my cell phone minutes expaining it again. Yes I'm talking about you guys selling Google rankings, and buyer leads.
- It's midnight, and I'm trying to sleep
If you really want a quick response, send me an e-mail, If I'm busy, someone on my team will respond in minutes, and nothing gets lost in interpretation.
Sorry for the rant, it was just one of those Mondays
