Dog and Pony Show - Friday Photo

At the Mule Day parade in Columbia I had the opportunity to view several things that seemed odd. This one caught me by surprise, because I didn't see it at first. Notice the dog riding in the pouch on the horse ridden by the man in the red shirt.Dog and pony

Speechless Sunday - More Mule Day

Speechless Sunday - Mule day in Columbia Tennessee is know for some unusual sights. I don't know about you, but these mules look too small to be pulling this much weight. It's time for the big guy to push.

Mule day in Columbia

mule dayMule day in Columbia - I had the pleasure of attending a Columbia Tennessee tradition dating back to before the depression. This is a bigger deal than an outsider might think. The grand marshal was Naomi Judd, and almost everything associated with the south was in the parade.

It's just a couple of hours in the sunshine enjoying a good laugh.
