Murfreesboro home sales for August 2011

Murfreesboro homes sales for August were still strong with 202 homes sold and 217 homes compared to August of 2010 with 155 Murfreesboro home sales, a 30 percent increase.  Murfreesboro has consistently been one of the most active real estate communities in the Nashville area. The number of Murfreesboro homes sold evey month seems to contradict the national housing market, but it also shows the strength of the local jobs market. Murfreesboro HomeMurfreesboro real estate Sales for June 2011 - With 233 homes sold in the month of June, It's no surprise that the Murfreesboro real estate market is active during the summer. The average price of homes sold was $177,947 and the average size of homes sold was 2085 square feet. The average days on market was an extremely low 79 days and 225 homes are currently pending. In my opinion, the Murfreesboro real estate market is moving quickly to a sellers market.

Murfreesboro HomeMurfreesboro Home sales for May 2011 - The median price of homes sold in Murfreesboro was $148,450, and unlike some of the other popular cities of Brentwood and Franklin, the prices of Murfreesboro are down 3 percent over may of 2010. The number of Murfreesboro homes sold was down also from 225 homes sold to 168. This is a break from the trend we've had for the last year, and I can only think that it's a one time anamoly.

Murfreesboro HomeMurfreesboro Homes sales in February showed another sold month of closing especially considering the terrible weather we had. 63 home closed in Murfreesboro for the month with the average price being $178,627, this compares favorably to the average price of homes sold in February of 2010 at $177,256.

I would tell people that the prices of Murfreesboro homes are stable. The average size of homes sold in Murfreesboro was 1255 square feet and the average days on market was 94.

murfreesboro home searchMurfreesboro homes sales for November continued to be strong with 140 closings. The average price of Murfreesboro homes sold was $170,450, and the average size of homes sold in Murfreesboro was 2023 square ft.

The prediction for the housing market in general are improving slowly, but Murfreesboro never slowed down as much as some of the more expensive regions, so the sales growth should continue to be healthy.
