Murfreesboro Homes Market Report July 2011 - 207 Murfreesboro homes sold in the month of July and 213 Murfreesboro homes are currently pending sale. The number of Murfreesboro homes sold evey month seems to contradict the national housing market, but it also shows the strength of the local jobs market. Murfreesboro has a unique position as the home of the largest university in the state, and the jobs to support the students help a strong local real estate market.

In my opinion, the Murfreesboro real estate market is moving quickly to a sellers market.

Murfreesboro Home sales for May 2011 - The median price of homes sold in Murfreesboro was $148,450, and unlike some of the other popular cities of Brentwood and Franklin, the prices of Murfreesboro are down 3 percent over may of 2010. The number of Murfreesboro homes sold was down also from 225 homes sold to 168. This is a break from the trend we've had for the last year, and I can only think that it's a one time anamoly.
