Spring Hill Real Estate Is Hot - I've been trying to find starter homes for a young couple in Spring Hill, and believe me, the market has really changed. Earlier this year you could find plenty of Spring hill homes in the $120,000 to $150,000 price range in excellent condition. Now all of the good ones are sold, or under contract.
I'm glad to see it, but it always catches buyers by surprise when the market changes.

It amazing how fast these guys will run for an oreo. The annual Ham festival in Spring Hill has the feeling of an old country fair, and the children hav a lot of activities that keep them entertained.
The proceeds all goes to local charities, and the event is sponsored every year by John Maher Builders.

Spring Hill Tn - with only one vote opposing, the mayor and board of aldermen approved the use of 6000 square ft lots for residential homes in Spring Hill. The previous minimum for residential homes was 8000 square ft. The intention is to allow builders to build more affordable homes.
As a realtor who is concerned about property values in Spring Hill, I think this is the opposite direction from where the city should be headed. If you add a few apartment complexes to the city, it will begin to have the same look and feel as Antioch did 10 years ago.
What the mayor calls affordable housing is just another word for cheap. I don't believe that anyone who bought a home in Spring Hill in the last 5 years would have moved here if they had know what the polical powers in charge were planing to do. And maybe that's one reason that buyers are reluctant to invest in Spring Hill Real Estate.

Wakefield real estate - John Maher Builders development in Spring Hill with homes between 1400 and 4200 square ft, and prices from $170,000 to $260,000, This chart for the first half of 2009 shows that homes are selling, but a great bargain is still available in Wakefield.
Located off Duplex road in Williamson county, Wakefield is a next to the new Williamson county recreation center, and Longview elementary school.
