Thompsons Station walking trail

THe community leaders of Thompsons station have applied for a $500,000 from teh Federal government to build a 30 mile walking trail starting at independemce high school. THe trail has already been started by some members of town and run for about 1 mile starting at Independence high. the triail will run along sewer line easements and vacant land.

I know that the network of trails in Brentwood is really used a lot by the residents, so I can only hope that the one in thompsons station is as useful.
