Franklin - It's still cold, but the girls are hungry.

My friend Merrill Osborne live in west Franklin close to the Natchez Trace national parkway, and he has an abundance of wildlife in his back yard every day. It doesn't hurt that he thinks they are all his pets.

Ahhh, the dear are graceful and bold this time of year. keep an eye on your dogwoods, they make tasty deer snacks.
Mike - I didn't know about the dogwoods, but i've seen them toake out a flower garden in minutes.
Bambi is so cute....as long as they don't jump in front of me when I am driving.
Wow, that's hard to believe this weird turn in the weather. I'm in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) and I believe we are warmer here these past few days than it is way down south! What's up??
I love seeing the deer around here. It's one of my favorite parts of living here. I wish we had more around us, but the way things are layed out prevents them from making it to our house easily (too many fences to cross)
I'm with Diane, I love seeing them, but they make me a bit nervous when I see them on the side of the road. I instantly become the "granny driver" LOL!
Diane - I think you and Tori both have seen how unpredictable they can be around cars,
Deena - Down here in republican land, we call this global warming.
Cute deer, can you help keep them out of my yard? They seem to be getting bolder.
Larry,
I watched a 6 pt and a doe outside my window at home yesterday morning.
Julie - They are hungry. Buy them a bale of clover
Mike - Where is my pictures.
Great pic Larry, I am with Diane and Tori having had a car or two totalled from running into a deer...
Vanessa - Thanks god you now have a high performance car. I dodge them all the time. It just makes the drive through Williamson county a little more entertaining. Just don't spill your coffee.
