Some Home Buyers are Missing A Great opportunity - One of the stories I've heard this week involves a first time home buyer who is preapproved to buy a home, has found several that meet her needs, and she has decided to wait until summer to buy.
Yes you are reading this correctly, the $8000 that our uncle Sam is willing to give her doesn't seem to matter. Several of the Nashville homes that meet her criteria are HUD foreclosures that will probably only require $100 down payment to close. The $8000 would pay her mortgage for the first year.
Maybe I'm too much of a numbers person, but most people could use an extra $8000. This opportunity is scheduled to end soon, and I suspect that we will here the whining start soon after it does.
If you know someone who would like to save money buying Nashville Real Estate, send them my way. We watch the numbers, and deliver value.

I have a hard time understanding the logic of this Larry. Though everybody has their own special circumstances, perhaps there is a reason for passing up such a great financial incentive.
Who knows what goes through the minds of some folks. Not only will she lose the tax incentive, but housing prices will be higher and so will interest rates. Go figure...
Helping you help others live their American dream...
Mike - It's not logical
Michael - Money doesn't seem to matter to these people. Maybe that's why they don't have any.
