Several encouraging announcements were made concerning Spring Hill in the last month. The Mars corporation is moving it's corporate office currently in leased office space in Cool Springs to a new 500,000 square ft office building to be built at the corner of Columbia highway and I-840. The president of the UAW announced that the GM plant in Spring Hill may reopen as soon as September. A theme park was announced and land has been rezoned for commercial use south of Saturn Pkwy in Spring Hill, we are still waiting for a plan to fund the project. But the best news is that the project to widen I-65 is under way, and will soon eliminate the frustration and danger of stop and go traffic during rush hour on the interstate.
