The prices of homes continuing to climb with the average price of homes sold being $259,699 compared to $223,821 last year, an increase of 16%.  With 120 pending sales, and only 218 available properties, buyers agents will have to be very aggressive to beat the crowd.

Wow, that is a hurge increase.  Hopefully, you will get more of that much needed inventory to keep the momentum going.

Jane - I doubt if the inventory levels will be able to keep up with demand. This is very similar to 2005 and at that time builders came in and built a lot of homes. It won't happen this time because they don't have enough buildable lots to catch up.
