Williamson County Real Estate: Greystone Golf Course

Greystone Golf Course

Nashville real estate - For those of you who enjoy a round of golf from time to time. I managed to take aGreystone Golf Course few pictures Friday while playing in the Triton Boat Benefit. Greystone Golf Course is located just west of Nashville, close to Montgomery Bell State Park on state hwy 70.

The golf course itself has some serious elevation changes, and plenty of hazards for the folks who like to stray from the fairways. I played with 3 of my old Service Merchandise friends Carl Meadows, Ron Mccrory, and Mark Williams. Thanks to Tony Meadows for arranging this every year, I know the idea is to raise money for charity, but it's still a lot of fun.

We had a great time, but could only manage 9 under par. The winners shot 13 under.

That's one I haven't played yet.  I guess I'll have to try it.

Doris - It's a few miles from Hendersonville, but if you like challenging golf and nice views, It's worth the drive. It's very similar to the courses around Crossville.

Larry:  9 under is pretty good isn't it?  Sounds good to me ... I know nothing about golf, but that is a nice photo and it sounds like you had a great time with your friends.  :)

Jan - 9 under is a 63, and yes most of the time you would be very happy with that score.

Gosh Larry, 9 under is very good. You must have been a pro golfer sometime in the past to be able to shoot that well. I probably would have been 278 over.

You know, golf never appealed to me, I tried it out a few times with my former hubby and just did not "feel" it. It sounds like you do and you also do it fairly well. Glad you had a good time and the charity is always worth it. Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin have some awesome courses!

Michael - I do enjoy golf, but this was my first time out this year. Don't be misled by the score, this was a 4 man scramble, and my playing partners are all pretty good. Our score was better than we expected with the conditions of wet, cold, and windy. We had fun

Vanessa - Golf is not for everybody. It's time consuming, and hard on the back and legs. I don't play much because all my frend normally play on the weekend. I'm usually trying to sell houses at that time.

I'm going to start golfing!  I've been trying to convince my husband to buy me the cute little pink & black club set with all the matching accessories...how fun!!!!

Great photo!  Have a wonderful week!

Yvette - Pink is the thing for women golfers. You can get everything in pink if you want, even the balls.

THis is a very pretty golf course. I would guess by the picture that you have a lot of up hill shots.
